Wanted a Canadian-designed bike. The iGO Sawback ticked the box — mid-drive, integrated battery, clean cable routing. eBC was the only Calgary dealer carrying iGO. Free assembly and a follow-up tune-up at the 200 km mark.
Cargo eBike for daycare drop-offs and groceries. The iGO Torngat handles two car seats and a backpack. Belt drive means no oily chain. Drove past my idling Subaru three days running before I stopped using the car altogether.
Rosemont in graphite. Wish there were more colourways but the spec is excellent — 500 Wh battery, integrated lights, hydraulic discs. eBC threw in a basket for the front rack.
Took 6 days to arrive — fine, given the holidays. Box was a little roughed up but the bike inside was perfect. eBC walked me through assembly over a phone call. Battery latched cleanly first try.
Came from a hub-motor bike. The iGO mid-drive on the Sawback is so much quieter — you can hold a conversation with someone riding next to you. Better on hills too.
Bought from eBC because they actually picked up the phone when I called with pre-purchase questions. The iGO has been great, but the support is what brought me in the door. Will return for accessories.
